There is the Gay-Straight Alliance in the high school that Will Grayson (1) goes to.
Even with that, there is a lot of other types of love between other people, such as Tiny and his countless boyfriends and Will Grayson (1) and Jane. Will Grayson (1) comes to term with his love for his friendship with Tiny near the end of the book and Will Grayson (2) realizes how much he loves his mom and how much he needs her. In this story that is seen between many of the couples, but there is also love between friends. Love is generally seen in a romantic way towards a partner that someone will live with forever.
